25 Meticulously Detailed CG Artworks

Submitted by Richard Darell43,010 Views | 44 Comments

Artwork, especially computer generated, can sometimes be created quite fast and easy. But then there are images that takes forever to create. Some artists even fear the exceptional time consuming hard work it takes to create a truly great and mesmerizing picture. Even though the new generation 3D software’s are unbeatable in terms of structured and streamlined work flow it can be quite daunting to put together a detail rich environment or object that progress through the ordinary and usual. Not to mention the high amount of creativity and ideas it requires to create a truly interesting and inspiring image.

I decided to hunt down the most meticulously detailed pieces of computer generated artwork to showcase the awesomeness some artists possess. Every single image displayed in this list is entirely created using a 3D software and some kind of image processing software to enhance and add some after effects to make the image even more alive and interesting.

What follows is a list of 25 totally impressive pieces of imagination that didn’t just “happen” to impress me but blew me entirely away. To try and understand what kind of time went in to each and every image is just now worth the gray cells working overtime. One thing is for certain though. They’re killing all competition, each of them!

Fantastic artwork, each in it’s own right. My favorites are Mechanical Sleep, because I have a thing for industrial hardware, The Outpost and Pontiac, because it reminds me of our first car when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing these with us.

Wow! These are truly stunning, Richard. I love the detail. I found it interesting how many of them are dark or muted as opposed to bright and sunny. The craftsmanship is tremendous, but I came away wondering if any of these artists are having much fun! :) Thanks for tracking these down. Really an exceptional showcase.

This technique involves creating a number of niche blogs, adding content to them for some time to improve their ranking, and then submitting them to’get paid to blog’ websites, that may pay you a single charge per post. One of the advantages of this technique is that you aren’t even needed to have large amounts of traffic coming to your blog posts to make money. However, you will receive no passive revenue and will have to put plenty of work into updating your blogs. Thank you very nicer article. Thank you for sharing :)
