10 Fresh Digital Artists & Designers to Follow on Twitter

Submitted by Karen Mc Dade49,961 Views | 33 Comments

thumbIf you’re anything like me, you may be getting tired of seeing the same people on those “designers to follow” lists we often see crop up here on design blogs. I scouted around the underworld of Twitter to see if I could dig up any incredibly awesome, yet under-followed creatives. And in the spirit of anti-establishment counter-culture I hereby announce the 10 of the most underexposed and fresh creatives on Twitter. Ok, so there are probably tons of you out there, and that’s the point of this article. Whether your field is web, design, digital painting, branding, logo design or any creative field – we want to hear from you. So if you know of any designers that need some love, or if you are that designer (I’m down with shameless self-promotion) – leave your Twitter name below so we can all share in your stealthy awesomeness.

DavidCousens@DavidCousensBio One half of Cool Surface illustration. We draw stuff for money!

Very awesome stuff. Sometimes I feel that our technical generation forgets about paint, and some of the more old fashioned mediums get tossed aside. Which, being part of this technical age, I can understand. I myself will take schooling for digital arts, because that could really be put into my actual paint jobs, and many other areas of artistry expertise. Mixed media is so awesome! This is a great way to share artistry! But please don’t forget the painters.:) Myself being one of them.
There is a lost art among us younger generations in appreciating fine arts. But paint is so magical, I wish everyone could feel it under the brush, spreading to the canvas, it is a beautiful and free feeling:) Love this list, please do more:)

Again, the team bidding on LeBron or whoever (let’s call them “the Nets”) can’t truly top Cleveland’s max contract offer, but they can match it (or come close enough) and offer the appeal of… Brooklyn. Or MSG. Or “not Toronto”. Especially now when getting paid in US money in Canada is a bad thing. Thank you very nice article. Thank you for sharing :)
